about the artist
I work primarily in a mixed-media collage. Visual elements such as found photos, geometric shapes, bold patterns, bright colors, textures and motifs are consistently present in my art. Themes such as femininity, motherhood, beauty, and race are also recurrent and explored often. Both my collaged paintings and murals radiate with vibrant, bold colors and generate an energetic presence in whatever environment they inhabit. I believe that my body of work stands as a testament to who I am and that it will certainly add to the collection.
