about the artist
I use metal to create volume in space. The nature of metal, how it moves, how it fails, its strength and resilience all show themselves in my work. My inspirations come from industry, the natural world, and the parallels between them. I often frequent an industrial scrap yard, which is a source for many of my materials as well as ideas. I most enjoy creating works that can be experienced by a community, where they can create intrigue and incite emotion- my work is meant to be shared.
