Team-Building with Canvas For A Cause

Looking for a creative and meaningful way to bring your team together? UrbanArt Commission offers local businesses a chance to participate in our annual Canvas for a Cause fundraiser—completely free of charge.

Here’s how it works:

• We provide free 6x6 canvases and all art supplies (paint, brushes, collage materials) for up to 20 employees to participate in a team-building art session at our office located at 422 N. Cleveland.

• These art sessions are great for:
     Leadership retreats
     Staff appreciation activities
     Creative breaks for small teams

• After the session, all completed canvases are donated to UrbanArt Commission and included in our annual public art fundraiser and exhibition: Canvas for a Cause. Each piece is displayed and sold for $25 to support local public art projects and artist development.

If your team cannot come to our office:

• We will still provide as many blank canvases as you need.

• However, we cannot provide supplies (paint, glue, brushes, etc.) for sessions held at your own location.

Optional Add-On (Purchasing Vouchers):

• Your business may choose to purchase ticket vouchers so employees can select and take home artwork during the fundraiser. 

• The event itself is free to attend, and purchasing artwork is optional. This is simply an extra way for your team to connect with the art and support local creators.

The available 2026 dates for businesses and employee groups to participate in a team-building session at the UAC office will be posted on this website beginning January 1, 2026.
