about the artist
My work explores identity, outward appearances, and the manner in which we decorate ourselves. I earned my BFA from Memphis College of Art in 2012 and have displayed my work in over 100 group and solo exhibitions throughout the mid-South. My solo exhibit Decorators was named one of Memphis's top ten visual art exhibits for 2013. I currently reside in Birmingham, AL and continue to travel to Memphis for client meetings and to view art exhibits at Memphis College of Art, David Lusk Gallery, and the new Crosstown Concourse. Memphis has a very special place in my heart as the location that shaped my artistic practice and provided me with incredible professional opportunities.
