Project Overview
Martin Luther King Gates | The Links at Riverside: Martin Luther King Riverside Golf Course
Regional artist Jim Wallace completed these gates to the Martin Luther King Riverside Golf Course in 2005. He took inspiration from nature in the area and specifically wanted to reference the mighty Mississippi River through his metal gate. The flora of the delta area can be seen in the organic, flowing shapes and lines of his metalwork. Standing 21 feet tall, the columns of the gates indicate the lasting importance of the river to the Memphis community. The gates were fabricated from mild steel and are a memorable entry to the Links at Riverside.
