Frayser Elementary Mural | Frayser
“It is my mission to create a fun and lively mural that will bring joy to this and many future generations of Frayser Elementary students.”
Alex Harrison created this fun, interactive traffic maze to teach students about street safety. Above, animal students walk to school through an array of street signs. Students can travel along the maze to find their way safely from school to home, creating a lively and educational after-school or recess activity. The artist explains that “it is my mission to create a fun and lively mural that will bring joy to this and many future generations of Frayser Elementary students.”

Alex Warble
Alex Harrison, or Alex Warble, is a local painter, illustrator, and musician. He is known for his fun and colorful paintings of animals in vibrant, dream-like settings based in Memphis, TN. He has completed numerous public art projects throughout Memphis, including at Hi-Tone and the Cupboard. He received his BFA at the Memphis College of Art.
