about the artist
I’m an Asian American sophomore in high school. I mainly paint watercolor portraits and people, because I feel that there is a lot to discover in the way we present ourselves and perceive others. Throughout my few high school years, I’ve participated in a few contests; last year I got first place in the Memphis International Airport Contest with a painting of Ida B. Wells. In addition, I’ve participated in the Scholastic Arts and Writing Contests, and received a gold key this year, for a watercolor of one of my friends.
