about the artist
My current work focuses on small figures in unusual situations. These figures simultaneously represent the importance and unimportance of conscious beings. By placing them in these strange moments, it forces them to react to the absurdity they are encountering. I am also asking the viewer to consider how they would react in such a situation. I often think about how humans fit into this world and how small we actually are compared to the rest of the universe/multiverse. I am very interested in the purpose of human existence, but it seems like we do a lot of weird shit for no reason.
