project overview
Ed Rice Aquatic Center | Frayser
The acrylic paintings and tiles were completed by local artist, Anne Davey. The project features three large scale acrylic paintings in the bathhouse, as well as a horizontal band of photographs transferred onto glass tiles. Both installations take inspiration from the community of children playing and swimming at the Ed Rice Community Center in Frayser. The tiles include photographs of children who frequent the center and showcase the joy found in the community spot.
