Halle Park, a 31 acre parcel of land, is a gathering of fitness and wellness opportunities for the community. The park contains Arthur Halle stadium, two ball fields, and four basketball courts, and given that they’re lit, all are highly used in the evening hours. A mural showcasing the activities seen taking place around the park has been designed for the face of the stadium by Terry and Jerry Lynn, completed at the end of 2015.
About the Artists
TWIN - Terry and Jerry Lynn
Born and raised in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee, the identical twin artists were highly influenced by the vibrant sounds of blues and jazz in making this mural, which carries into their art. While it’s not unusual for artists to join artistic forces to create an image, it is unusual that two artists can work simultaneously on the same piece, producing an image so succinct in technique and style that it cannot be distinguished as a collaboration by two artists.
