Brandon Marshall

Kingston "Ezekiel" Stringer and Jamond
Drawing from backgrounds in traditional graffiti writing, sign painting, and community-based public art, his murals often layer fragmented imagery into unified narratives that reflect site specific locations, and the people who make it what it is. His practice spans public murals, installation, painting, and cultural collaborations, with a focus on creating work that is both visually dynamic and deeply rooted in human connection and regional history.
Community Engagement and Artistic Excellence
For months, Brandon Marshall led a group of Central High School students through completely their first mural. The group of students started by creating the designs they wanted to see in the mural. They combine their ideas and creative feedback to create the final design. For weeks, Brandon showed them how to use the proper materials to complete a mural of this size by practicing on cardboard and scrap materials. Once they were ready, the students were able to start spray painting the design on the wall. Jamond and Kingston, were two of the students that followed the training throughout each step. Kingston says after his experience on this project, he would like to pursue a professional career in arts. He also said this wouldn’t be the last time UrbanArt Commission will see him on a public art project.
