J. Louis Tucker – better known as “Ziggy“ – uses digital photography to observe and document moments in time as they relate to American culture and its subcultures, as part of an an ongoing exploration of rhythm, movement, and performance. In 2013, Ziggy was recognized by the Memphis Flyer as one of 20 young Memphians shaping the city’s future. His work was included in the Brooks Museum of Art’s group exhibition #memphisshared, and he has worked as a commercial, fashion, and sports photographer at events throughout the city.
