Jarvis Boyland is a fine artist from Memphis, who navigates intersections of black identity through his portraiture. He received his BFA in 2017 from the University of Memphis before attending the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2018. His paintings focus on queer men of color within intimate spaces.
